Futuwwa Intensive

“Futuwwa means following the ordinaces of perfect devotion, leaving all evil, and attaining in action and in thought the best of visible and hidden good conduct” - Al-Sulami

Across the programme, participants will undergo a combination of practical activities, self reflection, as well as gaining a foundational understanding on futuwwa, under the guidance of a traditional scholar.

The programme shall include the following elements:

  • Ilm - 6 Pillars of Faith

  • Adab - Excerpts from the text, Risalat al-Anwar fi Adab as-Suhbah 'inda'l-Akhyar (Etiquettes of Companionship) by Imam Ash-Sharani

  • Khidma - Hospitality

  • Sunna sports - Horsemanship and Martial arts

  • Craftsmanship - Earth building and Permaculture

  • Islamic psychology - Muhasaba, Muraqaba

  • Minimum age: 18

  • The legal right to reside in Spain for programme duration

  • Fees starting from 450-550 EUROS with special rates for locals
