COOK WITH NABIL

The original chef of Baraka Cafe, a seasoned master of Algerian and Mediterranean cuisine shares the secrets of his craft.

An opportunity to cook with Nabil, who is the Chef in Azahara and who initiated the cuisine in Baraka cafe in Orgiva over 20 years ago.

Come and enjoy an unforgettable experience with Nabil as he guides you through the most enjoyable cooking experience ever.

What you will learn:

  • Cook Tajine or Paella

  • Make Proper Hummus with a Special Touch

  • Make a “Nabil Salad”

  • Make a Refreshing Lemonade

This will be followed by eating your lunch with Nabil and having lots of fun.!

Where possible, ingredients will be picked from the garden.

Program Structure

Welcome & Introduction (15 min)

Brief storytelling about Azahara and a discussion of the food you will prepare today.

Guided Tour & time to harvest (45 min)

Tour of Azahara and a visit of the vegetable and herb gardens to pick what is needed for lunch, depending upon availability.

Time to Cook (2:30 h)

The Cook Off begins, and each group will have their workstation to follow the instructions of Nabil to prepare the meal.

Lunchtime (60 min)

It is time to prepare the tables for the feast you have prepared. To enjoy the lunch you have prepared.

€50 per person for groups of 5-12 participants.

€80 per person for groups of 2-4 participants.

Payment Refund & Cancellation Policies

    • All bookings must be made online only through the official Azahara booking link.

    • 100% payment is required at the time of booking to confirm participation.

    • Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited spaces.

    • After payment, guests receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message with workshop details.

  • Because we prepare materials and limit the group size, our cancellation policy is:

    Cancellations by guests:

    • More than 5 days before the workshop:
      Full refund or option to reschedule (subject to availability).

    • Between 5 days and 48 hours before the workshop:
      50% refund or one-time rescheduling allowed.

    • Less than 48 hours before the workshop or no-show:
      No refund and no rescheduling.
      (Materials are prepared and the spot cannot be refilled last-minute.)

    • Guests may request one free reschedule if done at least 48 hours before the workshop.

    • Rescheduling is subject to available dates and cannot be guaranteed during peak season.

  • If Azahara must cancel or postpone the workshop due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances:

    • Guests may choose between:
      A full refund
      or
      Rescheduling to a future date

    In all cases, guests will be notified as early as possible.

    • Workshops start on time.

    • Late arrivals may join the group but additional time cannot be added, and no partial refunds will be offered.
